Whats the OMV? But I can tell you for sure your Big Pilot is a good bargain. Something gonna happen in September this year and it will surely drive up the demand tremendously.

What?what?what is going to happen?...my B Pilot is still pristine in box... haven't got the guts to put in on yet. hehehe... you should see the Militare too.

driving a loaner e90... other than rough and uninspiring sound made by the engine.. the e90 is agile and felt planted. getting dejavu all over for the old e36 feel and i think it is better than e46..hehehe! may be e90 M3 doesn't sound that bad huh other than the cabin size!

lmk.. just PM you! pls let me know!

I believe this guy works for the company selling KW. He was at the last meet trying to convince people including yours truly. He tried asking me to switch my brand new M6 suspension to KW saying that they were anytime better than stock.

I think that would be a very hard sell! I can't imagine KW shocks being any better for daily use. If you were going to use your M6 mainly on the track then that would be a different story!

No way. It was only wishful thinking on his part. But then gotta give him full marks for enthusiasm.

Not quite true. I know a lot of owners having good feedback on KW's. Var3 is perhaps an overkill. Koni as I understand is much firmer than KW. Of course for Var2 and Var3 one can crank it till the car becomes a bone shaker.

Collected the M6 from PML today after first servicing. Mileage shows 1850Km, so still very careful with the speed and revs. Took it out this evening to clock more mileage. This car is fantastic. I took it up to 180Km/h this round with such ease. It rides so steadily with no hint of the speed and no roll when taking the slight curves near Pasir Laba. On the way back, I went into Old Upp Thomson Rd just to confirm the road holding. Boy was I impressed!!! My 545 couldn't do it so quickly and smoothly. Managed to bring the odometer up to 1993 tonight. Can't wait to try and push it further tomorrow.

My only regret is that I may not get many chances to bring it up to the limit. I probably won't visit Malaysia very often in this car and neither do I track, but then, maybe, just maybe I might join the BMW-SG boys up north to Sepang one of these days. Until then its money wasted driving along Singapore roads.

Hi Ed,

Sorry for the ignorance but is the servicing schedule different for M cars? In normal BMWs the first service doesn't come until around 20,000km depending on the way it is driven. Do M cars have fixed service intervals or is it just your preference?
