I think is ok. Since we are split into two groups, I think the majority of us can request to be in that group that means about maybe 10 of us.

For discounts I think not quite possible as PML is pretty much strict on the pricing.

For what I know it costs 13k Ringget to book the whole track per day. So if for 2 days, plus lodging, food, instructors, petrol, tires, soap, entertainment etc, bascially just breaks even.

What Edlee could do is maybe ask for some special treatment like a E60 M5 taxi ride round the track.

I don't think PML will give any discount. But thats me doing the negotiation, not Edlee.

reserve the whole session on other days since the Sep ones are open for the public.

Like I mentioned previously; I am not confident of getting a discount but will try. Russo's suggestions are good; that we be grouped together and maybe to ask for an M5 taxi ride. Pity it may be in the E39 though. Don't know if they are actually bringing in the E60 as originally touted.

Whatever it is, I will try my utmost to do something positive for the E60 guys. I assume that only 9 of us are confirmed and maybe 1 or 2 more might come along.

Thanks Ed, for all you're doing.

I'm going for my ADT next Sat. Will consider the IDT after the ADT experience.

Anything I should particularly look out for in the ADT?

btw, are they using the E90 330 these days?

Cheers

As far as I know PML does not have anymore E39 M5 ever since 3 years ago. They will probably bring us around in a E90 330i.

Yes they are using the E90 330i for 2 months now. Chief instructor is Keith Nunis, followed by Vincent and Anwar and another 2 guys I think.

Things to look out for? Just floor the bastard like there is no tomorrow!!!

I know of someone who did just that. Problem is that when he returned home, the habit caught on and he felt invincible. As a result, he wrecked his car within a month of completing the ADT.

Any one switched from E60 520i to E60 523i? Is it worth it to switch? How different is E60 523i compared to E60 520i in terms of drive feel and power?

Do some research, I think the 2.5l in the 523i being a de-tuned version of the one in the 525i should be tuneable to at least as powerful as a real 525i.

I think the 523 will be alot better than the 520. It comes w/out active steering which IMO is causing all the hesitation in the 520 and 530.

Pricing is also the same if you negotiate well enough. Furthermore, even though it is a de-tuned 525, you can always re-map the chip for at least 12 horses more. Go for it.
