Yes. Thanks to Torsten and David. Wonder what kept RF away?

Thanks to the meet-up this afternoon that I also found out about my misplaced trust. Well, you've got to give and take in this world we live in.

Come to think of it; does PML have anyone looking after M cars? I believe they should because these are not mass market cars. I am sure at least 70% of the CSAs at PML are not able to give you good advise regarding the M not because they don't want to but because they do not know too much about the car.

I really hope PML will at least consider seriously my suggestion regarding the distribution of CSAs. If it works then it will benefit all concerned.

That was a good start. Do you guys think it's good to summarise what were discussed to share with other fellow Spore E60ers who were not there?

My vote of thanks for both Torsten and David for their time and effort to address issues which we owners of E60s were facing.

Yes, it is a good idea to sort of summarise what transpired, care to add to the list guys?

1. Olivin530i - wondering if PML does keep sufficient spares as very often, we were told that the parts may take a week or two to arrive (from main distribution centre in Johor).
Torsten - Parts which are related to safety are well stocked. Parts which might have a limited life span like certain electronic boards may have been superceded before use are on indent basis.

- Posed the question on s/w upgrade after warranty period. Request PML to perform FOC when the ride is being sent for services or repair. The urgument was, it is bug and need to be fixed. This would benefit to both the owners and PML( BMW)

- Overloading of CSA was raised and this could be one of the factors that contribute to the problem the owners are facing.

Here's a couple of photos of our recent meet - 7th July 2005 at PML -

A section of e60.net forumers and BMW enthusiasts viewing some very interesting videos of the car production process

Each attendee received a goodie bag at the end of the interactive session. Look out for the discount voucher inside guys!

Sorry, this Z4's just too small for my liking. BTW, is this one turbo charged?
