Hi Guys,

Was at Ikea yesterday evening at around 5pm.. After parking my car, realize that parked a few lots away was a black sapphire 530i with full M5 bodykit (not the M-sport) with quad pipes and rear diffuser. Car was riding on 19" AC Schnitzer Type IV( I think).. Can't remember the plate but it was 2 digits..

Thought of dropping a note to point the driver to this site.. Just as I was turning around to get pen and paper, the driver appeared.. It was a lady driver .. As my wife was with me, didn't want to risk silent treatment for the rest of the evening.. thus, did not approach her..

Sorry guys! Maybe next time..

anyone can verify that the 16.2 s/w upgrade will allow mp3 playback like the guys overseas are claiming.

It is a verified fact that unless you have Professional Radio instead of Business Radio (most of us have the latter), MP3 will definitely NOT work in our ride

The only wasy to verify if you have Pro or Bus radio is to ask tech at dealer to check what were the options fitted in your ride. Just give them your VIN# or car# and you will either be very glad or one damn hell of dissapointed

Will you be joining us for the E60 meet @ Kallang, 3.00pm 1st May 2005, eugeneloke?

I have the new door sills installed and finally also have the ugly anti-friction tape removed

According to Robert, the new sills were tested and should solve the problems of the creaking doors.

Will monitor and report.

Yes I have also had my sills changed and tape removed. So far so good.

Upgraded to 16.2 yesterday and picked up my ride this afternoon. There was some fierce pullback initially when I revved her up, but after that, everything went back to normal. No problem with jerking so far. Keeping my fingers crossed. I do not notice any lag in gearshift either.

BTW, I can now play MP3. Don't which version my set is, but you guys know its Logic 7. Thats as much as I can tell you.

Hope I don't need to disturb the Kg Arang guys anymore.

Hi Eugene, you need to check that you have option 663 BMW Professional Radio.

One easy way to tell is in your iDrive, under Entertainment, FM, do you see a option for "All stations"? if so, you have pro radio.

E60 meetup - Singapore
1st May 2005, 3.00pm @ Kallang Car Park

We would like to express our appreciation to Mr Robert Friend & Mr Thorsten Simon from PML for gracing our 5th Meet-up.

Their attendance underlines PML's readiness to better customer relations and signifies the beginning of a new chapter for all BMW owners.

Both gentlemen took precious time off on this May Day Holiday to answer the many questions fielded with enthusiasm.

We later adjourned to Marina South for this photo shoot - it has Singapore Central Business District's various buildings/skyscrapper as backdrop
