Sorry if this is off topic...but is it any cheaper to buy the all-clear lights/turn signals from there instead of Germany? (Just wondering) I don't mind our US, yellow turn signals...but prefer the all-clear.

Thanks for the offer. If it were just for day time looks I'd exchange. But I do like the xenons...even if I can't enjoy seeing them because I'm in the car when they're on!

No, I have not got any word from Robert Friend . Last checked with the CS Manager (James Liu) who arranged the mtg for me and RF, Germany is certainly being informed of our dislike.

Hopefully, when the next CIP (Version 13 maybe not in time???) comes along, we will be able to get that idiotic message out. Just for your info, I was told that the message is also in the 6er - can somebody please verify this?

Toto, you may want RF's contact when that message make you feel like a fool everytime you start your ride - PM me or Zag and you may want to sing your song to him too!

 

Not surprising that more owners will put their E60 520is on the pre-owned market and if the stalling problem cannot be totally eradicated (without any form of sacrifice in performance), more of these problematic babies will have to change hands - and owners will loose big time if potential owners get to hear of this .
