E60 Remote Key problems

Good point...if the tint isn't metallic, the installer still may have nicked an antenna element in the rear window when they did the install...

Where exactly are these located ? As far as I was told the work performed only had to do with the front back and wing of the left side.

I have been getting an error message: something like "remote battery discharged." I have comfort access. I thought that CA also charges by placing the fob into the steering column. Is that wrong?

A battery through the dealership is $20. It is available for RadioShack? Is that battery rechargable?

Currently, the remote is functioning fine (except for the message)

The battery is about $4 at any store like Wal Mart, etc. Just pop the back off and the number is on the battery.

CA doesn't use a rechargeable battery. CR2032 I believe.
