Hi new to the forums here. I have an 04 530i and over one year when I start the car up the radio is on mute. Never used to do that. If I hit the volume button the mute comes off but it's irritating to have to hit the mute button every time I start up the car. I tried rebooting the idrive and that didn't fix the problem. Has this happened to anyone before? I searched the forum and there have been sound issues but not like this. Any idea guys?

 

Have you tried deleting your driver/key settings and reprogramming with the radio on? Does it happen with both Keys? I have never heard of that happening before
