Hi, I have just got 530d Sport December 04 build with Profssional Sat Nav. I would like to know what is involved in:

1. Upgrading the Sat Nav/System software to have the "perspective view" etc,. available.
2. Retrofitting the Voice Control/Recognition
3. Adding AUX input external audio sources
3. Retrofitting the BMW Assits

Has any of the group members succeded in any of the above in UK, and do dealers charge and how much for the software upgrades?

To upgrade the software (which will upgrade the Nav), your local dealer has to apply the latest version which can take up to a day (sometimes more).
Voice retrofit is on hold at the moment but when it is available, it should cost you about ?180+VAT and your dealer fits it (as it requires activation in the software)
Aux input, again is a dealer fit (cos of the software) and should cost you about ?140+VAT
Don't know about the retrofit of BMW assist but I am not sure that it would be worth it?? Anyone else have a view on this?

Before anyone shouts at you, I would do a search on these topics, there have been many posts recently about them and people hate reapeating themselves (understandably).
