Opinion on this model? Seems like there are so many out there, would like to find out if anyone here has seen this before. I know it's too good to be true but love the folding feature even though I don't think my 550 has that option.

Thanks

If you have an LCI model, you should have folding mirrors. The switch is on the driver side arm rest above the mirror adjustments.

Damn, it's an '06 model but I'm sure someone will figure out a way to do it, I hope.

New lights, design, lights, cosmetics. My 08 528i has the power folding mirrors, any LCI with Premium Package has them.

This is such a useless option, it is second only to comfort access. Just curious when and why would you use it?

It depends on personal taste. I would love the get a set of M5 mirrors and there is a vendor here who sells the replica but without the folding feature for a higher price, I would like to get others opinions on this product since I'm a newbie to the E60. As for the comfort access, at first I had the same attitude as yours during my car searching process but now that I have it, I actually realize its usefulness. One arm carrying my daughter, the other arm carrying a grocery bag, just stick my finger into the door handle area and it unlocks, very convenience since I do not have to put either my daughter or the grocery bag down to get the key out of my pocket, in the rain.

I use the fold feature when parking in a lot where a lot of people will be walking through the cars to get to a mall for example. With them tucked in nobody will walk into them.

I also like Comfort Access when opening the doors for other passengers. Just touch the back door handle and all the doors open and I never have to fish around for my key fob when starting the car. I can also lock the car with a brush of my hand on any handle. You can even lean against it if your hands are full.
