So its been a while since i've posted about the problem so i'd like to see if anyone has an update.
My High pressure pipe broke the coupler that holds to the fuel rail stayed attached but the pipe broke in 2 and the rest was still connected to the fuel injector. So it squirted fuel every so often so i had to disconnect the battery and leave a rag on the line missing the pipe. So now that i replaced that pipe the really ugly idle still exists. I checked coils, and spark plugs while i was leaving the car at the shop to have its waterpump and thermostat replaced. I noticed the small actual coil that comes inside the fuel injector was sitting on top of the spark plug even after i pulled off the ignition coil. I used my stock coils to see if the problem would go away, it wouldn't. Next plan is to see if the gaskets for the injectors need replacing.. I smell fuel right when i start the car, A/C is always on right when i start it so i get the smell. I had a couple people tell me to look for air leaks getting into the fuel. After 2.5k rpm check engine light & car idles rough like it wants to die.
I'd really appreciate some ideas, im curious if the fuel rail is causing the problem itself after all the high pressure pipe did snap in 2 maybe the rail is done ?? Thanks guys i'd really appreciate the help.
