According to an article on BMW Nation (go to article) the Business radio and CD-player is supposed to play mp3s ("The Professional radio also comes with a player able to provide not only the standard CD functions, but also CD-ROM functions, thus playing back data files such as MP3 CDs.").
Does anyone know if these mp3 files would have to be written on the CD in any special way? I've tried playing a cd with mp3 files on the in-dash cd-player (not with the changer though), but it didn't work out. The files were written to the cd without the use of folders, but a flat structure.
I would appreciate it if anyone could confirm if what stated in the BMW Nation article is true - I'm unable to find any information about a possible mp3 support in any BMW brochure available to me.
