From what I heard, if it's part of the car's safety system, it will\should be covered (ie: airbag sensors...). By electrical I think they mean the radio, garage door openner on the rear view mirror, and possibly even window motors, etc...
After making a uturn the error came back. Looks like its time to schedule a repair. Since my warranty expired a few days should I have to pay my $50 deductible for CPO? Or should I try to argue with them.
In case anyone else has this problem in the future.....its $1000 to fix. I am glad I have CPO. This is the first time the car is going in for unscheduled work. Well second time actually the first time was when the taillight melted. Would it be safe to drive at highway speeds? My dealer of choice is 40 miles away.
The DSC could be related to your SZL and is noticeable from the counterclockwise circle with arrow and exclamation in it along with the yellow brake light. Most likely if you drain the electric system this would go away when reconnected. Or you could use INPA and quickly read and delete your Error Mem and the issue would go away. It can also come up if you have a bad alignment and you take a sharp turn but would probably reset itself after a shudown and restart.
Honestly I'd start looking at an electrical system issue bro. Sure they bill the CPO insurance company the $1000 and you pay $50 deductible but there is a lot of scamming with that. Perhaps it is a battery issue and so they'll bill for something that's not the issue. It happens Ultimately we each the bill by paying HIGHER CPO initiation fees.
It's a crooked world.
With that said, you'll be fine driving, it's just a DSC message
