I wouldnt get another E60 as they'll be too similiar maybe the next generation...

I voted for buying another 5er again but I just ordered a SLK55 AMG (hoping it will be a SLK63). I'll be keeping my 5er because I'm still very happy with it. If I were to buy another sporty sedan now, I would buy it again (less the run flats). I like the style, presence, performance, sense of security etc. (dont need a whole lot of handling here in the Toronto area... we have 99.9% flat and straight roads - so in that respect, it's a bit of waste of the 5er's handling talents except for emergency/accident avoidance and on/off ramp fun). There's no other car in the same price range for me at this time.

Last week, when I went to my usual video rental place, the owner was standing outside having his smoke..and he saw me in the 5er... (he's a recent immigrant from China/Taiwan) and he says to me... "oh this is a beautiful car, it's not an ordinary car !)

It's Not an ordinary car !

The coffee girl in the office said to me, "I saw you in your grey car. I want it" (I assume she wanted the car and not some other 'it')

And you're right, when the time comes, there'll be other newer, hopefully better cars out there to consider.
