My Ride: 2008 M5 -- Exterior: Silverstone, Interior: Black. Fully Loaded. That just about sums it up! :-)
Hi Somotayo,
Glad to hear you're OK and able to even type so short after such an accident. Yes, *safety* is indeed one reason why many of us buy BMWs.
Take it easy -- There are enough new BMWs to go around. I'm sure you'll be back in another one shortly.

First, sorry to hear that man, thank God you and the passengers are ok, most important thing.
Second, I love BMW's b/c of performance and all that fun stuff, but when it comes down to it, safety is the most important thing, and seeing as to how I just got mine thursday the 19th of may, makes me feel good as it should everyone else that we can trust our cars

Add another "thank the Lord you are OK" to this thread. What a great testimony to the safety features of the e60.

sorry to hear.
thank goodness that you are fine after this terrible incident, hope that you are not too shaken up.
I would be very mad at the red runner if its me.
perhaps another e60 as replacement in the works?
we all should thank BMW R&D for a terrific job well done.

You have been blessed fellow member, may you stay that way. I hope the driver who hit you wasn't drunk by any chance. Is ur insurance going to cover the damages or more like his insurance?
