Yesterday I installed the license plate PDC unit, the install was pretty straight forward I used the e90 instructions. (I'll be writing up a review/how-to, because I went in blind and couldn't find any decent reviews on it before buying). However I got my mind stuck on one piece of the instructions.
After drilling a hole for the cables to be routed through the directions say "Complete the anti-corrosion treatment process." I am not sure how to go about doing this (so I did the same thing I do when reading a book and come across a word I dont know,.... skip it) , is there a special paint/coating that I can use to do this?

Only applies if you drilled through metal. I couldn't imagine a large surface area being exposed, so a little touch-up paint on the bare metal areas should do the trick. I'd also use some RTV to seal the hole around where the wires went through to make sure water/moisture doesn't seep in.
