My Ride: Bmw 520d m sport

Hello,
Iv had problems with my os side light,
its a 520d m sport 59plate
my side light turns on for a few seconds after turning the car on then turns off and sends the code through to my dash. I’ve checked the fuse replaced the bulb swapped the headlights round to check see if it’s a faulty unit, it’s not that, and it’s the left side still that doesn’t work, had all the wireing checked, replaced the electrical lighting module, and for some reason in the heated garage it works? But as soon as I get it out of the garage and sit it outside for 2 hours, then turn the car on the side light turned off after starting the engin. I guess it’s something to do with temperature? I’m really scratching my head with what else to do any ideas?
