Left side / Right side parking light Only
had this feature in my mb e, but didn't know until now that it's in the 5.
just before you exit and lock your doors, you can activate just the left or right side parking lights using your turn signal handle. full left activates left, full right activates right.
in case you didn't know either.

I don't know if you need it, but it's good to have it... just in case...?

The couple of times I used the feature on the M5 at dinner parties, someone would always make an announcement, "if you have a silver BMW, you're lights are on!" - after that I just never did it again because of the hassel.

I admit us Yanks are dumb. We don't have a use for that left/right side parking light setup.
We also don't use the directionals the same way while passing on the left, as in Europe.
(I do it anyway to cause much confusion for US drivers!!)
