Default e60 heater hoses

On a 2010 e60 there are 3 heater hoses that lead to the firewall.

Who has replaced these hoses?

It looks like the three hoses pass through the firewall and connect inside the cabin.

Do they connect directly to the heater radiator inside the cabin?

According to the drawing on RealOEM, the dual heater core's pipes come through the firewall via a grommet. The hoses are clamped on the engine side. Some have quick-connects, others attach to the heater valves and aux pump using clamps.

I still have my original parts with 215,000km.

Good work using the schematic.

I can't see those 3 hose clamps and where they terminate on the firewall because of the thickness of the fire retardant protective material glued on the firewall.

I think I would have to rip off all the material on the firewall to find the clamps.

Maybe part 10 covers the clamps?
