Is there a way to install a 2008 e60 headlamp on a 2005 e60 545 ? The connector is different .has anyone done this successfully ? I have a pair of 2008 adaptive headlamp and would like to put them on my 05/545 . Being that the car came with adaptive headlamp I'm thinking there is a way to do this. Also there is An additional plug on the car connection that the newer headlamp does not use. Can anyone share some expertise on this matter ? than you .

It's called lci conversion. Do your homework and some research. Definitely not a job you can just bang out if you are not familiar with wiring, reading diagrams, and coding the car.

 

this guy (nomis_nehc) is the person you need to have build the retrofit cables for you.
i have done the same thing, ive go lci headlights and ive had simon build me some retrofit cables! (to which im dying to install... )
