E60 Head Light question!
#1
I got a quick question for the 2008+ E60 lights.
I've read in various places that the angel eye ring aka halo are used as DRL which can be setup on your iDrive.
However, can someone explain to me what is the other light for ( see attached pic with "?" )

As you told a previous poster, time to pick up the manual!!!
Nope, not high beam. On LCI cars, it is a turning light that activates when you use your turn signal and/or turn the steering wheel. The appropriate light will come on, shining a modest amount of light on where you are turning towards. Only works at lower speeds, not highway speeds...
EDIT: Page 109 in the manual to be exact.

Well my excuse is, I don't have the car or the manual yet! If I did have the manual, I would just read that instead

No 2010 manual? My car is a 2010. Or is the 2009 the same?
