Hi guys and gals,

I am temporary working in Belgium. I got a Canadian spec car since I will be back in Ottawa in two years. Unfortunately, as expected, some features does not work such as the BMW Assist. I ordered the car with the 639 option - Telephone and BMW Assist prep. Should I have received a V60i phone and eject box with the car?

As far as I know there is no phone or cradle included with the car. I have not heard of anyone getting either previously as standard equipment.

Welcome and enjoy your car.

It used to be listed as a dealer installed option for US spec cars. I used to, b/c I do not believe it is offered as an option anymore in US. I cannot speak to what the EU or more specifically, Belgium might have a standard, options, dealer installed options. Depending on whether or not you "paid" for this option I would sure get the dealer there to install or if no longer available, a refund.

For Canadian delivered cars, what brand of tires come with the 545i sport? Are they still Dunlops? Have any of us Canadians had problems with their Dunlops ... Will Canadian dealers replace dunlops like they seem to be doing in the States?
