I can't say if this is new or not but I just noticed it today.

The 5-series driver's guide has little flash videos that show you how to perform specific functions on the car. One of particular interest (since it's a question that's frequently asked) is how to pair a Bluetooth phone.

Take a look here:

(Lomag, I can't say how permanent this link will be but it may be a good addition to the FAQ!)

BMW has been doing this for a while. Good use of Web technology.

Great link and much appreciated. I noticed that the Bluetooth tutorial states that Bluetooth is available only with Navigation in the '06. Has that changed now? It is my understanding that Bluetooth is included with BMW Assist, and that it is irrelevant whether or not you have Navigation. Am I correct? Also, when your 4 year BMW Assist subscription ends, do you lose Bluetooth?
