Hello everyone I'm new here and my english isn't that good so please excuse future spelling errors . I've recently bought a Bmw E60 525d all well until 2 days a go when I've noticed that when I turn on the engine the dashboard takes up 1 minute before starting to work , the lights of the sensors work also the display only the fuel gauge , instant fuel consumption , speed and rpm start to work a little latter , how can I solve this problem ??
I almost forgott when i was with the car to the registration office the guys over there accesed some hidden codes to view the production date of the car and other stuff about the car and they also showed me a nice dashboard test , can this be related with my dashboard problem ?? Thanks in advance for your time ..

Not heard of this before, sounds like a dealer visit is needed.
The access to the 'hidden menu' should not have caused this problem.

Thank you for your answers I'm planing a visit to the Bmw Service because I also need the voice commands to be set in english
now they are in german and I can't understand anything and also I have the headlights eyebrows deactivated seems to be a common problem with those cars

hi. Noticed that you had this dashboard problem 4 years ago.. did you ever solve it out at the dealer? I have exactly same thing.. only with very cold weather! In summer it never appeared
