Sorry to hear about what happened

No liquids allowed in my car, unless it has a screw top.

Not the first time.... ??

Some people learn more quickly than others, the Ultimate Driving Machine isn't meant to be the Ultimate Latte Machine! A Lexus might have been a better choice.

This has long been an issue with BMW's and I got to believe has been at the top of the list of complaints to BMW over the years.

Really no reason why they haven't just fixed this issue years ago. I honestly think it is some type of inside joke or them just them being plain stubborn. Current cup holders took more money in R&D then just putting a simple cup holder set up in the arm rest area.

For the money we spend on BMW's we deserve some functional cup holders.

You can always get a cheaper car with better cup holders

I know they suck but remember, bmw is pretty new to that technology. They just started putting those on their cars in early 90's where US made cars probably had them as early as 70's. I've had few German automobiles and noticed one thing, half of them weren't even equipped with one and the other half needed aftermarket one anyway because the one that came with the car sucked.

Besides not working, they look cheap , worst design flaw in the whole car...........I never eat or drink in my car so it never gets used though.
