Does this mean you have A Software Service System Revised (SSSr) with all the proper connections? I do not think you will find one person on this board that has the ability to upgrade their software. You are looking in the wrong place.

However. I will post a couple of PDFs on the process.

What makes you think he has the SSSr? Maybe he got a hold of an older DIS or GT1?

Either way, it's likely a recipe for disaster if he's not familiar with the processes...

It it not recommended to try to do the CIP changes "at home".

A full CIP change, needs first the removal of the old CIP SW,
but some of the data needs to be "remembered" for the new one.

After that the new SW goes in, with parts of the old data.

I.e. our new local BMW Center is online to BMW in Germany to do this all.

Are you a BMW dealer?
Perhaps the programmer is malfunctioning ...crap machines if you want to sell it, I'll buy it

Hey, did you got the CIP update simulator for a laptop?
I think some Ukrainian hackers, they did it (it's illegal for us to discuss it)

Hi,
I'm with Antarctica and you can call us at 1-888-CIP4BMW to get more information

Correct me if I"m wrong that dealer downloads software to our cardirectly from New Jersey (BMWNA headquarters) or Munich.

Ok,
Actually, you can buy BMW SSS and DIS here:
http://www.atg.com.ua/index.php?post=equipment

It's rather expensive.
