I call the toll free number and enter my production order number once a day just to check what phase it is in. Yesterday and today it was in the paint shop. I do this purely for curiosity because I really don't care when the car arrives. My current lease is up the end of April so I'm really not in any hurry. Another fun thing to do is to look at the Dingolfing virtual factory tour http://www.bmw-plant-dingolfing.com/dingol...m/en/index.html That was you can get an idea of exactly what's going on in each production phase. Word of advice: Let each section load with the sound off, then watch it after it completes. Otherwise it's really choppy and annoying.
Thanks Jeff !

My Ride: 2005 530i upgraded to 2007 550i 12/20/06
Took delivery of 2008 M5 3/25/08 cf delete K&N filters, the rest stock.
My oder went into production this past Tuesday (status 150 production started). The SA said it should arrive by March 24th.
I don't know if there is a different timeline for a west coast car, but this is close to the time frame of my 550 last year.
Doesn't BMWNA service Canadian customers in the same fashion as US customers? I would hope so!
I take it from previous comments that you tried the BMWNA phone #.
We are in the same line, hurry up and wait

And no, BMWNA does not service Cdn customers same as US customers, we have BMW Canada. Again, the dealer is the best tracking system for Cdn orders.

The toll free # you mentioned ? Is that BMW USA Owners Circle ? Unfortuneately they don't have a tracking system that is open to customers in Canada.
Thanks Jeff !
