hi folks, just new so go easy on me!

i have a problem with my 2005 525d msport

i changed my haub carrier bushes(1 on either side at rear) i didnt have the special tool required so to make life easier after a few days of getting no where drilling and sawing i removed both hubs and pressed out the old ones and in the new,

since putting the car back together i now recieve the warning 'brake/drive stab defective' or something of that description with the abs light on

this is ususlly followed by the run flat sensor failure warning telling me that the system is unable to detect punctures

on start up the car is fine and no warnings present its only after driving for about 60 seconds they will come on, if i istop and switch the engine off for a few minutes and start her up all will be fine again, then after 60 seconds.....back

has anyone else encountered this or no what might possibly be wrong, is it possible that i may have damaged an abs sensor?....i was very carefull with everything,

any help/advice appreciated in advance

george

my guess would be that you either left one of the abs sensors disconnected or possibly damages a sensor or the abs pulse wheel on the hub during repair.

the abs pulse wheel on the hub sounds like a possibility, is this something that would need entire hub replacing to sort out or can this be changed on its own? thanks again
