Hi guys,
I bought my BMW E60 2004 about a month ago. PDC failure came up so i decide to have a look in to the boot and try to find a loose connection or something. I'm not even sure what I was looking for But this is what i found.



I don't have a bloody idea what to do next. Have anyone have had similar problem with his E60. I'll be visiting BMW garage tomorrow but I'm afraid they are going to charge me a fortune. Thanks for looking.

 

take that to an auto bodyshop, they can weld it back for you.

 

I have a similar problem on my 2004. Havent got it fixed yet. The metal seems pretty thin.

 

In your car the PDC module will be under the spare. You can just buy one on ebay, it doesn't have to be recoded, it should still work fine.

 

Hmmm, looks nasty. I'll be checking mine for signs.
