Well had mine done about a month ago they had the car for about two week to sort out another issue and now my idrive screen goes blank, maybe a coincidence but I dont like it

I have done it also They replaced the plastic. I am wondering if this was the cause of my air light went off afterward. As diagnosed by them battery safety terminal problem.

I got the part from the dealer and did this myself today.
I must say whoever had issues it has to be 100% unrelated, nothing done can cause any issues (if something happens after this work, then it would have happened the next time the battery gets disconnected anyway).
The plastic cover is the same as my old one (except it's white) so the only extra thing is a bit of grease around the connection.
