Hello all
Im having an issue with my sons E60 - the plastic washer that is part of the bolt that holds the window in place and attached to the regulator (rear left side) has been replaced and now my issue is as follows
1 Window can go up or down and stay closed or open in manual mode
2 Window can go down in auto down mode and stay down
3 Window will go up BUT will return to half way down in auto up mode
Have any of you seen this issue before ?
Thanks in advance for your time

I think the windows "learn" where to stop in up/down position by going up and down a few times manually.
If you search for windows adaptation or similar you will see this has happened to many people - it may also be your issue.

I think Sallcock may need a bit more detail than that...
The procedure is to hold the button in the DOWN and UP positions for several seconds each. The module will determine the end-point of travel and reset the computer to this value.

After many attempts it’s now working - to be honest I’m not convinced that there’s a robust way of doing this as I tried many different approaches and in the end it just started working after holding it down for 10 seconds
Thanks for the response 😀
