You mean now in your cobfiguration MS-8 is also the amplifier for speakers?? Obviously at moderate power.
This means you also coded the CCC for Hifi lo-level audio signal.

I installed the MS-8 after I did the CIC retrofit which puts out low level. The sound level the MS-8 puts out with the stock cheapy speakers is loud enough for me. I can get it loud enough to drown out noise from outside the car and still sound pretty clear.

I didn't know the MS-8 contain some amplifiers too. This means, in the upgrade process, it may be the first to install.

Here's the spec on the MS-8. I guess it's comparable to the OEM Logic 7 power.

JBL MS-8 Specs (power ratings are RMS)

CEA Power Output 18W x 8 channels @ 4 ohms
Maximum Output Power 30W x 8 channels @ 2 ohms
Frequency Response 20Hz - 20kHz
Signal to Noise Ratio (Line-in/Line out) >90dB
Signal to Noise Ratio (Line-in/Speaker out) >85dB
Maximum Input Voltage (Speaker-Level Input) 15V
Maximum Input Voltage (Line Input) 2.8V
Maximum Output Voltage (Line Output) 2.8V
Maximum Current Draw 16A
Stand-by Current Draw <0.01A

It has RCA low level outputs as well so that you can install more powerful amps such as a sub amp out of it.

So yeah..if you have the basic stereo or lower powered hi-fi, the MS-8 is a good upgrade which adds Logic 7 and more power at the same time. From then on you can step up to better quality speakers or additional amps, or both.

What version do you use?
- the two underseat midbass in parallel and you have a center speaker on the dashboard
- the two underseats separated and no center speaker?

Sort of like the first one. I don't have rear door speakers.
CH1 - Front Left
CH2 - Front Right
CH3 - RearD Left
CH4 - RearD Right
CH5 - Center
CH6 - Not used
CH7 - Sub Left
CH8 - Sub Right

Didn't know about putting the subs in parallel but it sounds okay right now.
