The good news is the tire and wheel were replaced under warranty. I'm still not comfortable with having style 124's on my car. That's an ongoing issue. As for the hood...here's a picture under the lights.
Per BMW, they are sending the hood to be stripped and repainted or they are going to replace with another hood (which ever is available first). Either case I'm now driving an x3 loaner again for who knows how long. I hate to be an A$$, but I'm paying for a 545i and I'm driving an x3, again. I miss my V8. For my troubles they are going to pay my next payment. It helps, but I still miss my car.

They said the problem with the spots is called "modeling". It has something to do with the metallic paint. Apparently the body shop they sent it to didn't do a very good job. The Service Manager offered to make my next payment without me asking for it. I honestly never even thought of asking them.

It's still an open PUMA case. I was told because of the holidays it may take some time. I seriously doubt anything is going to come of it. It would be a big liability for BMW if they replaced my rims. I'm sure they don't want to open that door.
The good news is...I should be getting my car back on Monday with a new hood. I can't wait. I miss my V8.

Hmmm.......124's on a US 545 without Runflats? Is it a 545 sports package?..... or non-sports package with the wheels changed to the 124's?

Finally got the car back tonight (I missed my silver V8). The hood looks much better. We'll see how it looks in the sun light. Still waiting to hear back on the rims. I called BMWNA to follow up on the PUMA case. They contacted the Service Manager and now he has passed it on to his rep. I hope to hear something in the next couple of days.
