Default E60 Adaptive control unit 7189312

Good evening ,

I had an error message of cornering light failure and dipped beam failure right hand . I managed to track it down to this little beauty that sits on the bottom of the light unit , car is a late 2006 with adaptive xenon lamps. I was able to borrow one from a friend who had a very similar car a while ago and cracked a lamp. I have swapped the unit , light is working and no error messages but the adaptive corner lighting which was working is not . Two things to add , the part number is slightly different to mine although his car was the same age and had adaptive xenons and I am pretty sure his one came from a left light not right.

I am going to purchase one with the correct part number , does anyone know if they will need coding and what steps are needed to program ?

many thanks

Thanks for the reply , I had to code the light module about three-and-a-half years ago but I'm a bit rusty now , can this be done with an NCS expert ?
cheers

Yes I listed it in the instructions. RSMC/LSMC. R and L stands for right/left. Don't forget to calibrate after you're done.
