545 adaptive headlight....driver's side light moves or no?
Hey guys,
I need some help. I noticed that my passenger-side head light moves quite freely when steering. However, my driver-side light stays pretty much fixed.
It does adjust when I switch the car on at night, bit it seems to be fixed on the road ahead, while the passenger-side light steers back and forth. The passenger-side light even steers OVER the drivers-side light's beam.
Is this how it is supposed to work? Does any one know of a video posted somwhere that I can check out?
I had to get my window control switches replaced, and I told the service guy to check it out. I picked my car up last night, and the service document says something about no error found. I'm like DUH, there may not be an error, but it doesn't move.

The adaptive headlights are speed based. If you are standing still and turn the wheel, then yes, only the passenger headlights swivels. When you are seeing this, are you standing still? The best test is to find a dark stretch of road with bends and to drive it. The turning of both headlights is easily visible...
Yeah, I read that the driver's light does not move unless you're over 10mph. I tested it last night, and I never see the left left light move.
I did read another article that said that the left light does not move as freely, but I can't tell if mine is moving at all.
I don't know how else to compare without driving another e60 at night.
