I am not sure if waiting 7700 miles for next oil change will be OK?
Usually I do change the oil every 3500-4000 miles.
On this recent oil change I noticed much less glitter so still not sure if I should go for rod bearing change or wait?

Sorry I don’t mean to bump up the thread, but how is the car holding up? I have a similar situation on mine. Sparkle in the oil but none in the filter. Blackstone came back clean. How many miles has it been since this happened? Cheers!

Default Sparkle in the oil change

That was approx. 25000 miles ago, continued with similar oil change intervals 3.5-4.5 K now sparkle is gone, I don't know how to explain this but some magic happen.
What oil type are you using?

Also about Blackstone oil sample I did follow the process of taking the oil sample around 1/2 way through the oil draining process.
Now I'm holding with any additional oil lab checks.

I am using Liqui moly 5w40 kit from FCP Euro. Coming up on another oil change so I will send them a sample per their instructions. Seeing a trend may help them decide if there is a problem. Based on the first result, nothing to be worried about. We will see…
