Ive gotten the code for the second time now. Fist time i deleted it and it came up again after about a month. Where should i start troubleshooting? i heard there is a 50 amp fuse under the seat that might be blown. Any thoughts?

Isn't it the secondary air injection system error?
Read somewhere that it might be a crack in the tube going from air pump. It tends to crack under the intake manifold.

yea it is. im going to take it apart and take a look next weekend. ill post if i find anything.

May that explain kind of a whistling sound at cold start ups? It would definitely make sense... BUT that sound is still there for about 10-15 sec after I hear the air pump shut off.

I have not notice any whistling but ill double check tomorrow before i take it apart

That's emissions related. I've had this code on my z4 for like the last 3 months, don't think it's anything to worry about if it's something costly. Mine is the $300 pump

I have the same issue. Stelership wants $950 to repair and Indy want $640. where can I find the part and how much labor is involved in replacing?
