i have the same feeling when accelerating from a stop or lower speeds, and it only happens sometimes. it feels like its coming from the front center of the car but I can't tell for sure, if it has anything to do with the transmission its a problem I have never heard of because it doesn't have any other symptoms of a tranny problem and it shifts just fine
