E60 2008-02 Sat Nav 5 digit to 7 digit conversion help
Hello guys,
I'm new to the site and BMW
. Just brought thisE60 2008 model recently and require some help getting my sat nav accept 7 digit postcodes.
I have BMW E60 2008-02 professional sat nav disc which currently works fine and accepts 5 digit postcodes. But I would like to have 7 digit postcodes entered along with speed camera warnings....
My car central screen has something of 7-8 different options listed sequentially...Navigation, Bluetooth, Contacts, Settings, Radio, CD/Multimedia, etc. As per what I read until now, it looks like I have to update this screen altogether to get the 7 digit postcodes working. Can someone please let me know if this is really required and if so, is it a DIY, or how much would it cost...
