My Ride: 535 D - to be delivered end Feb 2005 - color E08 - comfort seats - executive leather balck - 122 wheels - dynamic drive - active steering - pack luxe - tecnology pack - moon roof - 6CD player - hifi system - spare wheel - BT phone
I did just take delivery of my new 535D with DD. One week before I drove a 530D loaner without DD.
The difference is huge even in very slow speed you will feel a much precise handling of the car ie turning at 20 mph in a roundabout. At high speed this is super.
I don't think at all that you are loosing sensitivity.
In terms of comfort, the filtration is higher and the vertical damping is realy good.
My only complains with 245/45/17 tyres (122 stylewheels) is that the rear suspension is a little too hrash but I need to modulate the pressure.

I love the ARS (or Dynamic Drive), at least when the roads are dry.? Is it just me or does anyone else feel that on wet roads the car feels a little numb.? I feel like I'm about to lose control.? Or could it be I'm just going too fast for my own good?!
? I wish I could test this in a wet parking lot to see how good this ARS thing is.

[/quote]Test drove a 535D with the sport supension M? including the M bodykitand 40 serie tyres. I think that the DD suspension is softer and offers a superior handling. But to be honnest you can only compare after several hundred miles of different use and not a 30 miles test.
