One can view DVD films on the 2010s - I have done it. BUT it only works when parked (the transmission in park) - at leat in the USA.
How do I know you ask! I was in an eastbound traffic jam on I-70 last Sunday and saw much too much of the film.

2010s don't even have a DVD drive anymore...they are hard drive based
