Steering angle sensor failure + stability control failure + brake hold failure. Fix requires installation of new steering angle sensor in the steering wheel.

My Ride: 2008 BMW 550i Sport
Carbon Black Metallic/Cream Beige
Manny tranny and other stuff
Recently gone, but never forgotten:
2005 Ford Mustang GT (hence the name)
Torch Red/Crimson
Manny tranny and every option available for that year
2002 Chrysler 300M Special
Brilliant Black/Light Taupe/Dark Slate
Autostick and goo-gobs of neat features that I will sorely miss
Hmm... Sounds like you've got yourself a ticket to the "Engine Malfunction! Reduced power."

Yes, agree with Roleez, most likely is the szl sensor failure. If that is the fault, you will need to replace the sensor and reprogramme the module. You can probably request for the latest software upgrade as well.

The lights have since went away and have not been back for three days now. I have an appointment on Friday and hopefully they can fix it even if everything seems normal now. Will keep you updated.

Update...I bring my car to the dealer to fix this yesterday. They returned the car telling me they cleared all the faults. I was a bit weary taking the car back since all they did was clear faults. And today, sure enough, the same problem came up! It seems the dealer took a shortcut. I'll have to bring it back. I took this picture with my phone and printed it out before going to the dealer in case they could not reproduce, but they said they could pull all the faults up on the computer.

It sure DOES sound like they took a shortcut...didn't do anything but clear codes, assuming they meant nothing? Weak!

Was your warning like these? Mine is an xi so the AWD popped up too. If it was it's the steering angle sensor. BTW, using your cell phone to snap pictures of alerts - is especially handy if they go away after some driving. A picture is worth a 1000 words!
