Need help, I was driving uphill today, and suddenly my DSC warning light came on and the vehicle jerked 2 times, it was a straight drive up a steep hill, and I was only going at 70km, the car is a E60 523i MY05.

did you hit a patch of ice (or water)? Were you accelerating or driving at a constant speed. It sounds like the electronic safety systems activated to keep you from spinning out and possibly loosing control.

totally normal sir.
your car was doing its job and activated your "traction control" because it senced some loss of traction from a wheel
i presume the light is not still on?

The DSC (Dynamic Stabilty Control) warning came for you: Be very, very careful because did take care of the cars control.

It has saved me a couple of times driving some +100 km/h on a icy and curvy highway.

my dsc came on and i had no way of taking it out but after i parked the car i noticed that there was stuck on my wheel well, a peice of paper which i guess blocked the sensor which turn my dsc light to come on thats just me. Once i took it off the car it was fine but i think your car did its job the light shouldn'
t be on no more right?

No worries, you just lost traction for a second and the system kicked in to help. Pretty much anytime there is tire spin, it's going to come on. There are some steep inclines in the hills around HK, so this is not surprising. Also, as someone mentioned, you may have run over a water patch.
