Sounds like a terrible situation. Have you filed a complaint with NHTSA?
They do not take kindly to these types of safety issues. You may want to visit their website. You can determine on their site if anyone else has filed the same type of complaint.

I also have the names, tel and fax numbers of two people in Munich that are in customer relations - Warranty, PM me if you need this info.
I too have had my trials and tribulations having to change my engine after 24 days of ownership, but things have now settled down and car is performing well.
