I think so. But you have to rev the engine to approx 2200 rpms. I don't know how healthy it's for the transmission though...

Interesting. I just had a little run in with a 330Ci (231PS engine I presume) and gave him a good run for the money! He just beat me, we hit about 75mph from standing start and he was about 1 car length ahead! I used DS mode with a 'gentle start' so the wheels did not spin... I wonder if a 2nd gear start would of helped...
