Another important aspect is that it is always better to be seen than not...having riden motorcycles for years, it's always a wise idea to use your lights/signals, etc. as it makes you stand out from the crowd...think when you see a car with DRL's coming at you, they are more noticable and you are less likely to stray into their lane. Just an extra precaution and plus they look cool too

Me too- drove through deep water and kapow!! blew light and got message. When next at dealer I requested replacement. Aha they said, I had PIAAs in there so they said for $135 we will put our OEM bulb in. I said never mind and did the PIAA thing again for ~$40. Now before we get Iceman all riled up it was a heavy Florida frog strangler of a rain so I had every light on I could find
