It is indeed Sycamore, what gives it away, that second hand M3 just in the showroom ?

Have always really liked Sycamore very fair handed and very efficient, what are your experiences ?

I recognised the "collection" ramp outside the showroom. I have only ever bought one car from them and that was 8 years ago but they were very good then. I went to them for a price to buy in my X5 earlier this year and they gave me a cracking price but I ended up selling it privately for ?500 more than they offered. I deal with Wollaston in Northampton as a rule but am looking at buying a 320d for an employee and Sycamore have offered a superb deal so I'll probably use them again.

With dynamic drive, do you get the issue with the 18in and runflat tyres transmitting small bumps or not, just wondered if it helped. How many miles have you done now, any problems ?
The ride is firm yet very smooth. It rides 'sleeping policemen' very well. My previous 330 was harsh since it had low profile wheels and sports suspension. I've now done around 1200 miles. Only had two small probs: cruise control and autobox downshift from 2nd->1st. Both have been apparently fixed. Please refer to the sticky thread titled: Problems Encountered for more info.

Parking is the biggest worry after a 3 series, especially the end to end stuff, a bigger space is needed, but its only 10cm wider than a E46 coupe.
Thank you for your comments.

How useful is the PDC in helping to park?

PDC is helpful, but the signal goes continuous at about a foot or so (red on the display), so its useful to a point, its just that judging the corners is tricky for that last 12 inches, because you can't see any of them. This is true of any moden design though. Its no worse than trying to judge the front of my E46 coupe,(always felt you were closer than you were). I could judge the back very easily on that as you could see it, but can't even see the boot on the E60. The rest of the car is great though, and this still much, much better than no PDC at all.

Cool

Hi all,

Got my new E60 yesterday evening and Im absolutley thrilled to bits with it the colour, wheels look great. Will post pics soon!

The IDrive I got used within a few hours, its quite simple really.

The ride and comfort is great havent really driven the cars on a bad road yet, to see what the 18"runflat tyres will feel like......any comments?

Got my new 525 a few days ago

Titanium Grey + dakota grey leather
Business Navigation
Adaptive Xenon H/L
Automatic/Steptronic
18" Run Flats
Service Package

Loving the car to bits - and I know it sounds corny, but it puts a smile on my face when I drive it (esp with the right music on). 300 miles + and no problems so far.

I was driving a 330Ci previously, and this car is just so much more comfortable inside.

Was really unsure of the 5 initially because of the back.. but it really grew on me! I no longer belive that Chris Bangle secretly works for Mercedes.

My only regret is not getting Active Steering especially after reading all the comments about how it revolutionises the driving experience !!

Buy It!
