driver side license plate light not working

Make sure the problem is properly fixed before resetting it, I think you can only reset it 4 times before it permanently stores the fault code.

Look up the colours in WDS if you want, brown is ground in the headlights of my car...

I tried using INPA to clear the fault code but it won't clear. Tool32 is just confusing ...

try DIS first?

Tool32 is confusing indeed, I've never used it, please be careful as apparently it's easy to press the wrong thing in that too. However it does operate at a lower level and should be able to force clear it. Read up on how to use it? If you find any guides let me know!

Random idea: try coding it with a blank .MAN file (or use ncsdummy to change cold check to not activ for a certain bulb e.g. the angel eyes) in NCSexpert - the LMA resets itself every time you code it so maybe that will do the trick.

THANK YOU sanjsanj I was able to fix my problem. I was able to clear the line that was short circuited using Toolset32 and now my license plate lights all work again.
