Title pretty much says it.

2004 545i.

Door lock knob is coming up all the way and goes down all the way. Won't open from the outside or inside. Tried using the key to unlock both remotely, manually, and by door lock button in the car. Started the car and turned it off and still no go.

Anything else to try before I stop by the shop for them to look at??

P.S.: Doing a Bo Duke Duke's of Hazard entry in the car doesn't quite look or feel right.

Sounds like a lock actuator gone bad, or dislodged wiring. I had a similar issue with my E39. Maybe someone who has experienced this problem first-hand can chime in. Best of luck.

+1 It does seem like more of an electrical issue as compared to a mechanical one!
