I have a 525i Sport and ive found that when i put my foot down i can only do about 20/25 miles before a good 1/4 of a tank is used....now this seems somewhat absurd.

i realise im probably not getting close to 50mpg but it seems to be drinking it when i decide to 'have some fun'.

is this 'just the way it is' or has my baby got some kind of problem...

There's song's that goes,"That's just the way it is, baby." Bimmer fun isn't cheap. Gas prices in the US today is about $2.95 per premium gallaon in the Gulf Coast area (Texas, etc).

The gas prices will get up to $ 6 - 7 / gallon soon, but the good vodka cost overhere already now more than $ 80 / gallon

What about a Toyota Prius?

Expert predicts $4/gallon in US after Katrina Hurricane. Stay tuned! And we'll be shoulder to shoulder with Europeans

My bimmer's going in the garage over today to "weather" the gas prices. Of course, the car won't stay there too long because it wants a workout at least once a week.

you can only start whining when your fuel prices hit around 6 bucks for a gallon.

thats what we have right now in the uk....$6.19 ish f***ing dollars per gallon of fuel i put in...

i hate this countrys absurd tax laws.

i.e. to fill up the tank costs me a whopping 113 bucks. (ish)
