We're already paying USD 5.15 per gallon in Singapore. Price was increased just after Katrina struck. I'm one of eight Singaporeans stuck with a 545 gobbling up petrol at 6.1Km per Litre.

Prius is just rubbish, e.g. an 120d/320d is a much more reasonable car

you can only start whining when your fuel prices hit around 6 bucks for a gallon.

thats what we have right now in the uk....$6.19 ish f***ing dollars per gallon of fuel i put in...

i hate this countrys absurd tax laws.

i.e. to fill up the tank costs me a whopping 113 bucks. (ish)

I went and filled up my wife's expedition and it was $92. I couldn't believe it. It was bone dry. Last year at this time, it was $35 to fill it up.

what im worried about is that in the uk we start at 6.20 ish....thats for regular unleaded. its closer to 6.50/6.60 for a gallon of 'bp ultimate' or shell optimax gas

that was pre katrina....as oil is increasing in price dramatically i can only assume we will go over a quid a litre soon and i will cry tears of financial blood when it comes time to fill the car.

Trade in for a Prius. No kidding unless of course your wife hauls a boat and 10 kids around town every day.

Guys/Gals, hold your grounds and remember why you bought that bimmer. Those Prius forums are laughing at us. They have their day and we will have ours. Win some, lost some . . .
